Arianne Cohen is author of The Tall Book: A Celebration of Life From On High, a narrative compendium of all things tall. Ari too is tall--she's 6'3", and can currently be found under a tall pile of book research
As a teenager, Ari was a nationally ranked swimmer. After drying off, Ari's collegiate editorial column in the Harvard Crimson won the 2003 Society of Professional Journalists Mark of Excellence Award. She developed her reporting chops during a year abroad in Cambodia, where she worked as a news reporter for the Cambodia Daily Newspaper, under a Rockefeller Travel Fellowship.
Back in America, she's a frequent contributor to New York Magazine, Popular Science, Nerve.com, Marie Claire and Fast Company. Her work has recently appeared in The New York Times, O Magazine (Oprah), Health Magazine, Popular Mechanics and The New York Times Magazine.
